New Finance Head at Ave Maria University

Ave Maria University has hired a new head of its financial operations, announcing that Maureen Joyce will assume the position of vice president of Finance and Administration in early April.
Mrs. Joyce most recently served as comptroller at Simmons College, a women's college in Boston. AMU President Jim Towey said in an email that she has more than 30 years experience in academia in the fields of financial management, auditing and adminsitration, working at Northeastern University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology before Simmons.
She will be the university's third head of its finance department since Paul Roney, the school's first CFO, resigned at the end of 2011.
