Ave Maria University has planned a number of events and celebrations of for the Petrine Ministry of Pope Benedeict XVI Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 27-28,
All events below are open to everyone.
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 2013
All three daily Masses -- at 7:30 a.m., Noon and 5 p.m. will be Masses of Thanksgiving for the Petrine Ministry of Pope Benedict XVI
5 p.m.: Student-Organized Panel* – On the Pontificate of Pope Benedict XVI and its contributions to the life of the Church
in the Lecture hall of the AMU academic building. Panelists include Theology Professor Michael Waldstein and theology department chair Fr. Matthew Lamb.
7 p.m.: Eucharistic Holy Hour in the oratory. Meditations by Fr. Robert McTeigue, S.J., AMU director of campus ministry.
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 28, 2013
5 p.m.: Board of Trustees Mass in the oratory (open to all) – Thursday of the Second Week of Lent, homily by Fr. McTeigue will honor the Legacy of Pope Benedict XVI
7:30 p.m.: Lecture – "The Legacy of Pope Benedict XVI" by Dr. Michael Waldstein, in the lecture hall of the AMU academic building.
