In the wake of Ave Maria University President Jim Towey's announcement that AMU is suing to block the federal government's contraceptive mandate, a panel of scholars will discuss the issue in an event open to the public Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 8 p.m. on the AMU campus. Titled "Bad Policy: The Legal, Economic, and Ethical Implications of the HHS Mandate," the panel will include author and theologian Michael Novak and AMU professors Seana Sugrue and Joseph Burke.
