Gas Station Opening Moves Closer to Reality

Ave Maria Development has reached an agreement to sell the gas station facility on Ave Maria Blvd. to a "substantial distributor" although the deal won't be final until the successful completion of a due dilligence period that goes through mid-October, an AMD spokesman said Sunday.

Huntingdon College scored two defensive touchdowns on consecutive plays from scrimmage Saturday in a 42-21 win Saturday over the Ave Maria University Gyrenes.

Family Fun in the Town Center

Families flocked to the Ave Maria town center Friday for fun and games at the first Family Fun Friday of the season. The two hours of music and activities from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. will be held on the last Friday of every month.

The Donahue Academy Shamrocks beat Westwood Christian from Miami 56-19 in the 7-man football team's last home game of the season. Seven senior players were honored at halftime in the game at North Park in Ave Maria.
