 Ave Maria Resident Laura Mastandrea, a standout soccer player at Palmetto Ridge High School, has been named to the Naples Daily News all-area team. She has signed to play for AMU this fall.

Ave Maria Water Judged Florida's Best for 2nd time

 Ave Maria's drinking water was judged recently to be the best in the state of Florida in an American Water Works Association competition. The Ave Maria Utility Company also won the state-wide honor in 2010.

Former AMU Student Remembered as "Everyday Hero"

The mother of former Ave Maria University student Jon Scharfenberger, a pro-life activist who died in an accident in the fall of 2011, urged those attending a dinner raising money for scholarships in her son's name not to forget the cause for which he worked so hard.
