Dozens of tennis enthusiasts turned out Saturday for the official opening of the first phase of the Ave Maria Tennis Center, adjacent to the water park north of the town center. Above, Daniel Dix and Danielle DiFlorio cut the ribbon officially opening the new courts.

The Ave Herald is resuming a more normal publication schedule, and we appreciated hearing from everyone who got in touch. One of the reasons for our "hiatus" was the marriage of our son, Daniel – who graduated from AMU in 2011 as part of the first class to attend all four years on the new campus – to Amy Wilson.
Donahue Shamrocks Win 3rd Straight

The Donahue Academy Shamrocks overcame a brief early deficit and went on to beat Academy At The Lakes 42-24 Friday to remain undefeated this football season.
