ABout two dozen residents turned out Tuesday for a discussion on proposed golf cart regulations at the monthly meeting of the Ave Maria Stewardship Community District. There will be further discussion at the next meeting Nov. 3 when a draft county ordinance will be presented for review.

 The Ave Maria Stewardship Community District at its meeting Oct. 6 will consider a range of recommendations for golf cart usage in the town, including a requirement that all golf cart drivers must possess a valid driver's license or learner's permit.

Home Sales in Ave Maria Already Exceed 2014 Total

Ave Maria Development has announced that 233 new homes were sold in the first nine months of 2015, a number that surpasses the total number of new home sales in all of 2014. Ave Maria has three different home builders – CC Homes, Del Webb and Pulte – building in four different neighborhoods – Maple Ridge, Del Webb, Emerson Park and Hampton Village.
Diocese of Venice Announces Partnership with Franciscan University of Steubenville
