AMSCD Sends Golf Cart Ordinance to County Commissioners

The Ave Maria Stewardship Community District board approved a draft county ordinance regulating golf cart usage in Ave Maria Tuesday, sending the matter to Collier County commissioners. The board meeting also heard updates on a move to directly elect one of the board members and on plans for a permanent fire station in town.

New CrossFit Gym Planned for Ave Maria

Another fitness option is coming to Ave Maria, with a CrossFit gym planned to open later this year in the plaza with the Mobil gas station. The gym will be owned by Jason Gabauer, who operates the Martial Arts Fitness Academy in the same plaza, and his partner Wilson Ospina.
