The 4th screening in the Ave Maria Film Society's series for this academic year will be O Brother Where Art Thou? - a Coen Brothers film released in 2000 starring George Clooney, setting the theme of Homer's epic poem The Odyssey in the U.S. deep south during the 1930s. The film has a great soundtrack that helped revive interest in American old-time country music and bluegrass.The film will be screened at 6:30 p.m. in the lecture hall of the academic building and there will be a talk and discussion following the film at The Queen Mary Pub led by Dr.Joseph Burke, AMU assistant professor of economics.This is the 4th of nine films that will be shown and discussed as part of the series.
