Age and experience beat youth and inexperience Saturday as Tampa Swish -- a team of over-30 men who play for fun -- beat a new-look Gyrene squad with just three returning players from last semester. Every Swish player played the whole game as they had just five men on hand. David James, led the scoring with 39 points, watched by his two young sons on the sideline.

The enthusiastic home crowd, which included some former team members, cheered loudly for each Gyrene basket, even at the end of the game with the team down by almost 25 points.

It was new coach Jamon Copeland's second game, and his first at home. Below, he huddles with his players in the first half. The Gyrenes' next game is at home Feb. 6 against Johnson and Wales.
