Amy Porter and Harrison Garlick on Aug. 21. Miss Porter works in the development office at Ave Maria University; Mr. Garlick is a graduate student in Theology at AMU. They plan to be married next summer in Pennsylvania.

Jude William McCullough (right), born June 14 to Drs Mark and Rosemary McCullough, professors at Ave Maria University. He joins siblings Ethan, Ambrose, and Caty. Jude was baptized at the Oratory in Ave Maria on June 27th.

Matthew Alex Klucik (left), 19, died Aug. 2 in a car accident in Ave Maria. He was the oldest of seven children and his family was among the first residents of Ave Maria. Click here for Ave Herald story. Click here for a video tribute to Alex Klucik.

cynthia_meche1Cynthia Meche (right), eldest daughter of Martha Mass, and step-daughter of Warren Mass of Emerson Park in Ave Maria, died on July 25 in Houston, Texas, of a sudden unexpected and unexplained illness. She was 52. Cindy had been active in her church's children's ministry, including vacation Bible school, and summer camp programs, and many of those children attended her funeral and expressed their love for her.
