on Scharfenberger is in intensive care in a hospital in Macon, GA, after an accident Saturday night that claimed the lives of a Students for Life staffer, Kortney Blythe Gordon, her unborn child and an occupant of another vehicle. Mr. Scharfenberger (right in a picture taken in January, 2011) passionately led pro-life activities at Ave Maria University before graduating in May, 2011. The hospital did not disclose his condition, or the nature of his injuries.
