Schwartz Investments Opens Office in Ave Maria

The firm that developed the Ave Maria Mutual Funds has opened a branch office in the Ave Maria town center.

The offices of Schwartz Investment Counsel Inc. is located at the corner of Annunciation Circle and Ave Maria Blvd., at 5060 Annunciation Blvd., Suite 101.

The office will initially be staffed by three investment professionals. Michael J. Schwartz (left), a vice president and the firm's national sales manager, will manage the office. Joining him are Tim Schwartz, vice president and portfolio manager,(right, top) and Christopher E. O'Rourke, account representative (right, bottom)

The Ave Maria office will serve residents of southwest Florida as well as investors across the U.S. who are interested in the Ave Maria family of mutual funds.

"We're very excited about expanding Ave Maria Mutual Funds into this beautiful new location," said George P. Schwartz, President of Schwartz Investment Counsel Inc.

Ave Maria Mutual Funds is the largest family of Catholic mutual funds in the U.S. and consists of six fuds that invest in companies whose activities do not violate core teachings of the Catholic Church.

"We believe our pro-life, pro-family style of investing in accordance with Catholic moral teachings will resonate with the people in this area," said Michael J. Schwartz.   

Residents interested in learning more about the firm's services can call the office at 239-867-4520. The office currently is open Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Regular office hours are M-F 8:30am to 5:30pm. Weekend hours will probably be added in the near future.
