egg6aChildren of all ages thronged the Ave Maria University mall for the town's annual egg hunt Easter Morning. The anticipatory wait for the hunt to begin was the hardest part for most of the kids, who began assembling after the 10 a.m. Mass. (Above, organizer Daryl Klein, with arms raised at right, gives last-minute instructions.) The actual hunt didn't last long as it took about 75 kids less than two minutes to scoop up more than 1,500 colored plastic eggs.

"I wish they could pick up their rooms that quickly," quipped Mr. Klein's wife, Mary Jo.

The kids exchanged each egg for a piece of candy following the hunt. Below, the line for the exchange.
