Spring Style Show Packs AMU Ballroom

Spring was in the air in the Ave Maria University ballroom Wednesday as more than 400 women from south Florida packed the room for the annual Spring Luncheon and Style Show fundraiser.

The style show, which benefits financial aid at the university, features university supporters modelling clothing and jewelry from Ave Maria merchants Beckner Jewelry and The Secret Ingredient as well as the Naples children's clothing store Cottontails.

The event has become one of the university's more popular fundraisers and was sold out days ago, said co-chair Sydney McManus (right, modelling with her daughter, Alexandra, and son, Declan).

 

 

Women started the day by shopping at a selection of boutique items outside the ballroom (left).
