xavier4Visitors to Ave Maria University now have the option of staying on campus in the Xavier Hall Conference Center, a converted dorm that offers rooms and suites -- many of which are newly upgraded and decorated.

Xavier Hall caters to large groups holding conferences or retreats, and also rents individual rooms on an as-available basis to people visiting the university or attending a university event. The rooms, most of which have twin beds and the somewhat-Spartan look of a dorm room, are gradually being decorated and upgraded with better furnishings through the generosity of sponsors, AMU's Jack Rook told the Ave Maria Founders Club Monday night. Right, a double room.

xavier1There are a total of 45 guest rooms, which rent for $70/night double and $50/night single, as well as a half-dozen suites that have either two or four bedrooms plus a sitting room and sleep between four and eight people. Suites rent varies depending on the size of the room. Left, the sitting room of one of the suites. All rooms have private bathrooms.

Visitors to the university who want to book a room in Xavier Hall can fill out a reservation form online here. More information about the accommodation is on the AMU website here.
