Collier School Board Approves Charter School by Jackson Lab

The Collier County School Board has approved a request by Edison State College for a charter high school near the proposed Jackson Lab research facility near Ave Maria, if the development of the lab proceeds. The school board's decision authorizes establishing the school, but does not fund the proposal and money would still need to be secured before the school could be built.
