Community Theater Group Holding Auditions Monday

Catherine Bauer had so much fun staging musical perfornaces at Ave Maria University before she graduated a few years ago, she's now starting a community theater group in town.

Miss Bauer is planning a performance of Broadway musical selections for April, and is holding tryouts Monday, March 15, at 6:45 p.m. in the Canizaro Library, Room 241.

"The tryouts are open to anyone," Miss Bauer said, "kids, teenagers, faculty and residents of all ages. There will be opportunities to sing, dance and ply an instrument."

Songs will include selections from Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, and other Broadway musical numbers from Broadway to modern day.
