The growl of Harley-Davidson motorcycles filled the Ave Maria town center Sunday morning as more than 100 bikes came through as part of a fundraiser for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The bikes started at Ft. Myers and finished at the Seminole Casino in Immokalee.
The Bean of Ave Maria (right) was one of five official stops on the ride, which for the last seven years has been named for Jim Perno, a former employee of Harley Davidson who was active in raising money for the MDA.
Left, Robert Brandt of Ft. Myers, a friend of Jim Perno's, has an espresso with Bean owner Daniel Dix .
