Golf Club at Del Webb Participating in National PGA Fundraiser

The Golf Club at Del Webb in Ave Maria will be one of a number of courses across the U.S. offering a bit more than a round of golf this Labor Day Weekend. The club will also be giving golfers playing Friday through Monday an opportunity to contribute to the Folds of Honor Foundation, which provides post-secondary educational scholarships for children and spouses of military service men and women killed or disabled.

This is the third year that the Professional Golfers Association has held Patriot Golf Day, which the PGA says has so far raised more than $3 million.

Local merchants in Ave Maria are also participating by matching contributions made at the local course.
