Golden Gate Team Wins Little League Tournament

The tournament started last week with five teams competing, two from Ave Maria and three from Golden Gate. The Ave Maria team that made it to the finals included players John Paul Beane, Hannibal Whitesell, Thomas Dauphinais, Ellana Stuart,  John Paul Stuart,  Ken Longley, David Baquerizo,  Matthew Klein, Jake Carletta, Nicolas Chaparro and Dominic Allen. Coaches were Jon Beane and Jim Carletta.

Dennis Longley, who organized the tournament, said he was proud of the way the Ave Maria team played. He also thanked the Wentworth Group for keeping the fields in excellent condition despite the daily rains.
