Donahue Academy students, along with parents, faculty and some town residents, honored Mary Friday at a traditional celebration on the first day of May. The month is traditionally devoted to the Blessed Mother in many different cultures.

Starting from the school, the students processed through the town center, around the university mall, then entered the oratory where people presented flowers before the statue of Mary (right). Mass celebrated by Father Tatman, and the crowning of the statue by Thaddeus Guerrero followed (below -- photo by Mary Stuller),.
