Lots of Fun on the 4th

4th2aAbout 650 people flocked to the Ave Maria water park on the 4th of July for special festivities. Some arrived as part of the town's first Independence Day bike parade.

In addition to cooling off in the pools, there were volleyball games on the sand and in the water.

Kids participated in a the hula hoop contest and dance segments with toss up treats thrown into the crowd.

There was music throughout the day from DJ Tom DiFlorio and members of the Knights of Columbus provided free food, serving up hundreds of hamburgers and hot dogs.
