The Donahue Academy Shamrocks lost 40-6 Friday night in a football game against Lakeside Christian in Clearwater.
Elias Allan threw for 102 yards on 21 attempts with a TD and 4 Interceptions. Mark Cheffers led the receivers with 42 yards and Randy Beidelschies scored his first TD of the season on a 12 yard fourth quarter screen pass.
Dominic Allan led the defense with 4.5 tackles. Donahue is on a bye week next week and will play at home on Oct. 17 vs. Eastland from Orlando.
"I am proud of the effort the team is putting forth despite all the injuries this season," head coach Rich Scanlon said. "The team is not giving up and this is valuable playing time for the younger players right now."
