Donahue Dominates in Shutout

The Donahue Academy Shamrocks dominated on both sides of the ball Saturday night, shutting out Spring Hill Christian 28-0 in a football game at North Park in Ave Maria.

Elias Allan threw for the Shamrocks' four touchdowns -- two to his brother Dominic and two to Anthony Altomari -- completing 14 of 24 passes for a total of 159 yards.

The Shamrocks had a balanced attack with 159 yards passing and 136 yards rushing.

Dominic Allan also had a great night on defense with 9.5 tackles -- four of those for a loss -- and a forced fumble. Matt Klein and Randy Beidelshies had five 5 tackles each and Beidelschies also had an interception.

The Shamrocks play their next game at North Park Saturday, Sept. 20, at 7 p.m. against Hernando Christian.
