AMU Wins 4th Football Game in a Row

amg1-300Ave Maria University shutout a struggling College of Faith football team Saturday 52-0, in a game that seemed over shortly after it started. For AMU, it was the foruth straight victory and their record for the season is now 4-2

College of Faith was playing shorthanded, and now has not scored a point in its last four games. The visitors from Charlotte, N.C., were held to 13 yards of total offense with -33 net rushing yards in 16 attempts. Full details of the game are at the AMU Athletics website here.

The competition will be tougher for the Gyrenes next weekend, when they host Webber International at 1 p.m. Webber and AMU appear to match up fairly closely, based on their games against common opponents.
