swimteam-350The Ave Maria youth swim team begins its fifth summer season Saturday, June 1.

Team director and coach Annaelle Scanlan (far right in picture with last year's team) has announced that the first practice and team sign-up will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the water park and will have three one-hour practices a week -- Saturday at 10 a.m., Wednesday and Friday at 1 p.m. -- for the duration of the eight-week session.

The team is open to swimmers age 5-18. The program costs $80, which includes transportation to six swim meets, and a membership in the Ave Maria Water Park is required.
