Annual Ave Maria "Turkey Bowl" on Thanksgiving

Football is part of the American Thanksgiving Day tradition, and in Ave Maria, part of that tradition is the annual Turkey Bowl flag football tournament at North Park.

Four teams of eight chosen in a draft Thanksgiving Day morning will compete for the championship in 30-minute games.

Anyone 15 years old or older is welcome to play, and everyone else is invited to turn out to watch, or lend a hand coaching or refereeing.

Teams will be chosen at 9:30 a.m. at North Park and play begins at 10 a.m.
