The Ave Maria Dance Academy continues to add to its classes, that currently serve almost 150 people from throughout southwest Florida.
The latest offering is tumbling classes for ages three and older, taught by gymnastics and tumbling instructor Michael Balcom (left).
"We are excited to have Michael teaching both group and private lessons at the academy," director Karen Ledesma said.
The dance academy now is entering its fifth year and also offers classes in all types of dance as well as drama.
Parents and prospective students have an opportunity to meet the staff and all the instructors at the academy's open house in the Ave Maria town center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25. Class registration will be open and dancewear, footwear and other accessories will be on sale. Anyone registering for classes Saturday will receive a free academy T-shirt.
Classes start Sept. 5.
