A seemingly endless period of anticipation -- for a child at least -- led to about three minutes of frenzied activity as kids swarmed the Ave Maria University mall across from the oratory for the annual egg hunt.

An unexpected highlight this year was the appearance of some animals displayed by the organizers of Orange Jeep Tours: a pot-bellied pig and tortoise.
