Dr. Caitlin McLaughlin-Raiger (above, with family) opened her practice in the town center Tuesday, offering a full range of family dental services. Dr. Cait, as her patients call her, will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8-11:30 a.m., working in temporary quarters at the Ave Maria Chiropractic office. After-school hours can be arranged on request.
Dr. Cait lives in Hampton Village with her husband, Michael, a literature professor at AMU, and their seven (soon to be eight) children. She has been practicing dentistry in Massacusetts along with her father since 1996 and also taught at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She still spends about one week each month seeing patients in Massachusetts.

The Raigers were looking for a change several years ago when Father Matthew Lamb, who had worked with Professor Raiger at Boston College, urged them to consider Ave Maria. "When we visited, we felt at home," Dr. Cait said.

Ave Maria Dentistry plans to locate later next year in its own offices across from EPN Urgent Care, but Dr. Cait is providing a full range of family dentistry services in her temporary office. For an appointment, call 239-919-6930.
