The Ave Maria town center bustled for the Family Fun Festival Saturday. Attendance at the fund-raising event for the Donahue Academy was bolstered by a Little League tournament and clinic at North Park, which drew kids from Naples and Ft. Myers. The weekend Family Fun Festival in the Ave Maria town center featured activities, games and entertainment for kids, families and adults.
Kids enjoyed a number of activities during the day, such as a climbing wall, paintball practice, horseback riding and a bounce house, as musician Larry Roberts (below) played in the Piazza. (Right, Isabel Musumano, 6, of Naples rides a horse from Stable Life of Ave Maria, guided by Carolyn Rice)

As the day wound down, families competed in contests such as a pie-eating contest, three-legged race and balloon race. (right)
In the evening, movies were shown for kids and there was entertainment under a tent for adults.
Sunday, the Knights of Columbus put on a pancake breakfast behind the oratory.
