AMU Choir: Choral Mass at the Oratory Sunday\, February 17\n
The Ave Maria University Choir will perform a choral Mass at 10 a.m
. Sunday\, Feb. 17 in the oratory.
Music will include works by
baroque composer G. B. Casali\, Johann Joseph Fux and Richard Farrant\, a
s well as congregational song.
All are invited to an open mic poetry reading at The Bean of Ave Maria Tuesday\, Feb. 19\, at 8 p.m. Read a poem or two of your own or one by your favorite poet.

\, February 23\, 2013 at Ave Maria University in Ave Maria\, Florida.

ucharist\, Sr. Teresa Benedicta\, Journalist and Editor of Legatus Magazin
e\, Patrick Novecosky and Fr. Dennis Cooney\, Pastor of St. Raphael Parish
in Lehigh Acres.
The cost of the conference is $50 adults $10

The Blues\, Brews and BBQ event will be held from noon to 4
p.m. Saturday\, Feb. 23\, in the Ave Maria town center.
Blues e
ntertainers the Mambo Brothers will play from noon til 2 p.m. followed by
Eddie and the Fat Fingers from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
There will be a
beer sampling tent\, BBQ and other street vendors including Collier Famil
y Farms.
Free and open to all.
The Mary's Meals group at Ave Maria University invites all i n the Ave Maria community to an outdoor screening of the organization's fi lm Child 31 at 7 p.m. by the fountain opposite the oratory. The 3 0-minute film will be followed by a reflection on solidarity with the poor by Fr. Paulo.
\nMary's Meals is an international organization that provides food to the poor.
\nThe film and reflection are part of an activity called One Homeless Night in which students will be collecting fo od for the poor\, praying and sleeping outdoors in cardboard boxes to rais e awareness about homelessness.
