 ity of Kansas Professor Stanley Lombardo\, who wanted the work to be under
 stood by today's audiences when it is presented orally\, as it was origina
 lly intended.<br /><br />Prof. Lombardo will read the final book of <em>Th
 e Iliad</em> himself\, beginning at 5 p.m. Saturday.<br /><br />The readin
 g will be preceded by a faculty colloquium that examines the final book at
