DESCRIPTION:&quot\;The 5000 Year Leap\,&quot\; an in-depth book and DVD cur
riculum on the principles that led to the creation of the U.S. Constitutio
n\, will be offered Wednesday evenings from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. from June
1 to Aug. 31 at the Tidewater Club at Del Webb. The sessions are open to f
rom 9th grade to adult and there is no charge to attend.\nThe 5000 Year Le
ap teaches the Twenty-eight Principles of Liberty the founders used to cre
ate the U.S. Constitution - Ideas that Changed the World. Some describe &q
uot\;The 5000 Year Leap&quot\; as the Constitution in everyday language: &
quot\;Loved by high school students\, supported by parents\, sought after
by lawmakers\, endorsed by citizens across the nation.&quot\; Each weekly
session is complete in itself\, and the DVD excerpt from the book allows e
ven those who have not read the book to join in the discussion. Weekly ses
sions consist mostly of two DVD principles. Each principle is followed by
group discussion. Participants may attend all or any of the sessions. Those
attending should get the book and read Chapters One and Two before the fi
rst session. Books are $6 and are available at Joanne Hallenbeck's. 7977 H
