 nist Jennifer Donelson will perform Agony and Ecstasy: A Musical Explorati
 on of Suffering and Redemption -- a dialogue between anguish and deliveran
 ce as embodied in piano works by Haydn\, Mozart\, Schubert\, J.S. Bach\, a
 nd C.P.E. Bach.The recital will be preceded by a lecture on Suffering and 
 Redemption from the Catholic and artistic perspectives by Dr. Michael Wald
 stein.The event is in the private dining room of the AMU student union. Th
 e lecture is at 7:30 p.m.\, followed by the recital at 8 p.m.Admission is 
 free and open to the public.The pianist\, Dr. Jennifer Donelson\, is an as
 sistant professor of piano at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderd
 ale. She has performed throughout the U.S.\, France and Mexico. A speciali
 st in the piano works and writings of Olivier Messiaen\, she has received 
 numerous academic fellowships and presented her work at the national confe
 rences of MTNA and the College Music Society.More information is available
