Prof. Rev. John Wauck of the pontifical university Santa Cro ce in Rome will lecture on the subject of ' Walker Percy's Fables of Alienation' Wednesday\, Sept. 25\, at noon in roo m 1026 of the AMU academic building. The lecture is free and open to the p ublic.
\nProf. Rev. John Wauck is Assistant Professor of Lite rature and Communication of the Faith at Santa Croce in Rome\, the Pontifi cal University of the Holy Cross. Fr. Wauck is a Chicago native\, studied history and literature at Harvard University and holds a doctorate in phil osophy from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross. Prior to ordinati on\, he wrote speeches for the attorney general of the United States and t he governor of Pennsylvania. He has written for many publications\, includ ing American Scholar\, Christian Science Monitor\, The New Criterion\, Bel iefnet\, and the Fellowship of Catholic Scholars Quarterly. He has also co mmented on Church affairs for CNN\, BBC\, ABC\, CBS\, Associated Press TV\ , Reuters\, New York Times\, Washington Post\, Los Angeles Times\, Chicago Tribune\, Time magazine\, and U.S. News and World Report. Currently he te aches Literature and Communication of the Faith at Santa Croce.
\nHe is visiting Ave Maria University to promote relationships between our two universities and to share information with our students about graduate st udy in Rome.
