"Child 31" is a powerful movie that AMU student workers for "Mary's Meals" hope will introduce both local residents and the AMU community to a project they hope will be long-term and town-wide. "Mary's Meals" seeks to provide poor children with two meals of "porridge" every day – an oatmeal-based meal" – freeing them from the daily scramble for basic sustenance and enabling them to attend school.
The movie, which is free and open to everyone, will be shown at 8 p.m. Sunday (after conclusion of the 7 p.m. Mass), Nov. 11, and at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14 in the lecture hall and is a half hour long.
