World-class triathletes will be passing through Ave Maria Saturday, Jan. 12, as part of the cycling portion of the full Naples HITS Triathlon. Cyclists are expected beginning around 10:30 a.m. till early afternoon. Ave Maria is miles 80-86 of the 112-mile cycling leg. Beforehand, competitors will have swum 2.4 miles, and afterward will run a 26.2-mile marathon.
