The annual Celebration of Lights holiday event In Ave Maria will be held Friday, Dec. 2 from 5 to 9 p.m. The popular event this year will feature a town parade, outdoor ice skating rink, 260 foot-long zip line, rock wall, spider mountain bungee and vertical climb, 35 foot-high fun slide, polar extreme obstacle course, festive food and beverages, photos with Santa, and live performances by local schools and organizations.
Other event participants include Hot Flashz dancers, Cool Cruisers of SWFL, Ave Maria Dance Academy, and town merchants.
