She was serenaded by unsuspecting passers-by who were asked to join in the celebration and sing to Elizabeth. Really Good Neighbors! Del Webb residents, Carole and Bill Dunstan recently reached out to Soo and Daniel Kim, operators of the Ave Maria Mobile Mart and Gas Station. The Kims were visited by Soo's mother, sister and nephew on vacation from Seoul, Korea. Shown here are Soo Kim and her

"Our Catholic Faith: A Study Guide for Faith Formation"—This twelve week group study program combining Faith Formation with Evangelization and based upon Sacred Scripture and the Catechism of the Catholic Church will be held at Del Webb's Oasis Club for 12 Fridays at 9:30 A.M., beginning on January 24. Groups are comprised of 12 participants—each participant selects a topic from the study guide and prepares a presentation based upon the goals, objectives and recommended resources clearly defined in each chapter. Through this process, the participants discover the vast amount of resources available for Catholics, gains a deeper understanding of the Faith and acquires the tools needed to share it with others. t's a Boy! Proud grandparents Ann and Jim Longon announce the birth on January 6 of Christian James Slaugenhoup, son of daughter Mary and husband Dave. A healthy 8 pounds, Christian was delivered in the middle of a blizzard, "another gift from God" writes Jim, who commented: "After much deliberation about the baby's name, Mary and Dave decided to carry on the family names—I always thought Christian and Slaugenhoup were good names, too!" The Longon's daughter Annie is expecting a baby in April—the count of Longon grandchildren holding at one boy and six girls! Shown in the photo are (left to right): Claire Isabelle (2), Christian James, Mary Theodora (thrilled Mom!), Elizabeth Grace (4), Marie Josephine (1) and David Michael (excited Dad!).
A Stellar Repeat Performance!! Del Webb's own Panther Run golfer, Gwen Moore, recorded her second hole-in-one when she aced the par 3 #7 on Jan. 17. What made the shot even more remarkable was the very difficult pin position. The shot was recorded at 125 yds. and she used her 27 degree hybrid to get the job done! Gwen was also part of a 17 million to one odds with back to back holes-in-one with Linda Helfer in July 2011 at heritage Bay's #8! Congratulations, Gwen!
Community Outreach—The Guadalupe Center in Immokalee will be the recipient of an outreach program initiated by Del Webb resident Pat Higgins, who after visiting the Center decided to work on a schedule of providing needs for our neighboring community. This month used or new bath and beach towels will be collected at the Oasis Club at DelWebb and brought to the Guadalupe Center for distribution to the Immokalee community. The Right Place at the Right Time....Alexandra and Ashley Clark, Seniors at AMU were studying in Rome from January through April last year when Pope Benedict resigned and Pope Francis was elected to the Chair of Peter. A small group of Del Webb residents recently attended a presentation (pictured below) of photos and stories shared by the girls at the home of Nancy and Randy Freeman.
