There are no issues that the Ave Maria Stewardship Community District needs to address, advises the district's lawyer in a memo, which also concludes that the district complies with all Florida statutes. This matter was discussed, at times somewhat testily, at the district board's Nov. 3 meeting.

Pits dug for fill near the entrance to Ave Maria will create two new lakes, one of which will be available for recreational uses such as boating or fishing, reported Barron Collier's Tom Sansbury Tuesday at the Ave Maria Stewardship Community District Meeting.  Cell phone reception has improved in Ave Maria -- at least for customers of Verizon which has started service from a new cell phone tower. AT&T service is expected in the next few weeks.
